Manchester United are set to play Huddersfield on Wednesday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Red Devils go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 3:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Old Trafford, Manchester

Manchester United did extremely well against Cardiff City at the weekend under new coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They will look to continue playing positive football ahead.

The Red Devils are at the moment sixth in the points table after 18 games with 29 points. In Huddersfield they have got opponents against whom three more points are at stake and United will have to play their normal football.

The Red Devils have their next three games against Bournemouth, Newcastle and Reading respectively across the Premier League and FA Cup respectively.

On the other hand, Huddersfield are struggling at the moment in 2018/19 Premier League and will have to change things quickly.

Huddersfield are at the moment nineteenth in the points table after 18 games with just 10 points. They know against Manchester United they have got less chances of a positive result yet they will have to be at their best and hope for the best.

Manchester United have a good record against Huddersfield and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Rajiv Van La Parra and Jonathan Hogg are both doubtful for Huddersfield for the midweek game.

As for Manchester United, Chris Smalling and Scott McTominay are both doubts.

Huddersfield XI : Lossl, Jorgensen, Schindler, Kongolo, Durm, Bacuna, Billing, Lowe, Pritchard, Kachunga, Depoitre.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Young, V. Lindelof, P. Jones, L. Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

Prediction

I expect Manchester United to win this game. They might win 3-0. The goalscorers might be Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
