Manchester United are set to play West Ham away on Thursday in the Premier League in their Penultimate game of 2017/18 season. Man United go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 7:45 PM (Local)

Venue : London Stadium, London

United suffered a shocking loss last weekend against Brighton as they were defeated 0-1. It’s something to worry for Mourinho as the Red Devils are nearing the FA Cup final.

Manchester United will be assured second place if they defeat West Ham on Thursday night but know it will be a tough ask away. United are currently on 77 points from 36 games. United next play Watford on the final day of the current season of the Premier League

On the other hand, West Ham who are currently safe from relegation and are 15th after 36 games with 38 points will be hoping for a positive result against a big side like United.

West Ham defeated Leicester away from home last weekend and will be in a positive frame of mind.

Manchester United are ahead on the head to head against West Ham by 65-43. Both teams have played out 30 draws.

Team news and possible line-ups

Marko Arnautovic, James Collions and Pedro Obiang are all doubtful for West Ham ahead of the midweek game. While Javier Hernandez, Michael Antonio, Winston Reid and Sam Byram all remain sidelined.

As for Manchester United, Romelu Lukaku and Marouane Fellaini are both doubts. Whereas Alexis Sanchez and Phil Jones are available and will likely play.

West Ham XI : Adrian, Rice, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Zabaleta, Kouyate, Noble, Masuaku, J. Mario, Lanzini, Arnautovic.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Lindelof, Young, McTominay, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

Prediction

I think West Ham has the home advantage and they will make it count. I expect a 1-1 draw here.
