Germany eye victory against The Netherlands in 2018/19 UEFA Nations League

Germany vs Holland
Germany will play Holland on Saturday in the Nations League
Germany and The Netherlands are set to go head to head on Saturday in the Nations League as the tournament moves ahead. Germany go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Amsterdam Arena, Amsterdam

Germany the four time world champions have had an OK start to their 2018/19 UEFA Nations League campaign as they drew their first game against current world champions France at home.

They will be looking to now get back to their normal winning ways as they take on the Dutch. Germany know they can’t let their Neighbours dictate terms as they are a dangerous side, so Die Mannschaft will have to play in top gear through the whole of the match.

Germany will next play France on 16th October.

On the other hand, The Netherlands lost their first game of 2018/19 UEFA Nations League 1-2 against France away. They themselves would be eager to bounce back in a very tough group.

Holland know it won’t be easy and they will have to play out of their skins and hope for the best.

Germany have done well against Holland in recent times and will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Davy Propper will not be available for the Dutch for the weekend game as due to injury.

As for Germany, Antonio Rudiger will be unavailable as due to injury.

Netherlands XI : Cillessen, De Ligt, Van Dijk, Dumfries, Blind, Wijnaldum, F. de Jong, Vilhena, Bergwijn, Depay, Babel.

Germany XI : Neuer, Ginter, Boateng, Hummels, Kimmich, Kroos, Can, Draxler, Werner, Muller, Sane.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all. I expect it to end 1-1. The goalscorers might be Memphis Depay for The Netherlands and Leroy Sane for Germany.
