Italy eye victory against Poland away in 2018/19 UEFA Nations League

Italy vs Poland
Italy will play Poland on Sunday in the UEFA Nations League
Italy and Poland are set to go head to head on Sunday in the Nations League as the tournament moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Silesian Stadium, Chorzow

Italy the four time world champions have had a poor start to their 2018/19 UEFA Nations League. They are yet to win a game. Italy will look to turn things around now.

The Azzurri at the moment are last in the group after two games with just one point. The task is not easy ahead as they play Poland away next but they should bring their A game in and then the results will follow.

Italy will play Portugal at home next in November in the Nations League.

On the other hand, Poland too had an OK start to their 2018/19 Nations League campaign. They will now look to make the home advantage count as they take on giants Italy.

Poland are currently second in the table after 2 games with 1 point ahead of Italy only on goal difference. Poland will next play Portugal away in the Nations League.

Italy have a good record against Poland and they will look to make that count.

Team news and possible line-ups

Kamil Glik and Arkadiusz Milik are both available for Poland for the weekend game and will play.

As for Italy, Nicolo Barella is available and might play.

Poland XI : Szczesny, Bereszynski, Glik, Bednarek, Reca, Krychowiak, Klich, Kurzawa, Linetty, Milik, Lewandowski.

Italy XI : Donnarumma, Biraghi, G. Chiellini, L. Bonucci, Florenzi, M. Verratti, Jorginho, Pellegrini, L. Insigne, Bernardeschi, Chiesa.

Prediction

I expect it to be a close game as both teams will give their all. May the best team on the night which commits less mistakes win the game.
