Date & Time : 20th September 2022, 7:00 PM IST

Venue : Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali

Team India after a failed Asia Cup campaign will now look forward to the T20I series against the Aussies as they prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup. They will look to put smiles back on the public’s face.

They have named a strong squad with good batters and bowlers and they will need to execute. They will need to score lot of runs and take the ten opponent wickets.

Captain Rohit Sharma will need to strategise according to conditions.

On the other hand, Australia have a good series recently done in which they cleaned up New Zealand in the one-days. They will be looking forward to the India challenge.

The Aussies too have named a strong squad for the tour with good options in batting and in bowling. They will need to play the conditions well.

Captain Aaron Finch will strategise keeping in mind the combinations.

As for the wicket, batsman will flourish and bowlers will need to at their absolute best to stop.

Team news and possible lineups

There are no fresh injury concerns for both sides at the moment.

India XI : R. Sharma (C), KL Rahul, Kohli, S. Yadav, H. Pandya, Pant (WK), R. Ashwin, Chahal,  Bumrah, B. Kumar, H. Patel.

Prediction

I expect India to be the favourites in home conditions but Australia the current world T20 champions should give India run for their money. May the best team on the day win.
