Scotland take on Ukraine in UEFA Nations League 2022/23 as the tournament moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Venue : Hampden Park, Glasgow

Scotland are in 2nd in their Nations League group i.e League B Group 1. They are on six points after 3 games. They will aim to defeat opponents Ukraine for the first spot.

The Scottish side have good players and at home it must have them in mood to score goals and be defensively sharp.

Boss Steve Clarke will likely deploy a 3-4-2-1 system with emphasis on getting the all important points.

On the other hand, Ukraine are top of the group standings and they will look to finish on a high the group phase. They would want to give their home crowd and general countrymen to be happy being proud of their great nation facing war trouble.

The Blue and Yellow are on seven points after 3 games. They drew their last game against Ireland in June 1-1. They will look to take away points by keeping defensively solid and look to hit on counter.

Andy Robertson is injured and won’t be available for Scotland. While Ryan Porteous will likely play. Also Ryan Jack and Kenny McLean are both available.

As for the Ukraine side, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Mykola Shaparenko are both out injured.

Prediction

Scotland will be favoured at home and one should expect them to come out all guns blazing but Ukraine are a good side.
