India and Bangladesh will go head to head tomorrow in Birmingham as both teams aim for two points to help their 2019 World Cup campaign. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date & Time : 2nd July 2019, 3:00 PM IST

Venue : Edgbaston, Birmingham

Team India had a bad day in the office yesterday after suffering a close defeat to hosts England. Their unbeaten run is now ended after the 31 run defeat.

Batting did well but bowling was the culprit and they need to play their brand of cricket as we move ahead and inch closer to the finals.

Now Bangladesh up next which should be a tricky game but with qualification for the semi-finals up for grabs India will look to bring their A game into play and get the job done.

On the other hand, Bangladesh despite having a fine World Cup are now in a spot of bother. They need to win their two remaining games and hope for England to loose their final game.

It isn’t going to be easy but Bangladesh will look to give it their best shot and hope for the best. India is not going to be an easy one and they need to play out of their skins.

Best of luck to them against the might of India. The ODI head to head record doesn’t favour them either with India miles the better team.

Team news and possible line-ups

Bangladesh are likely going to play the same XI as in the previous game.

As for India they too are likely going to play the same XI as in the previous game.

Bangladesh XI : M. Mortaza (C), T. Iqbal, L. Das, S. Al Hasan, S. Sarkar, Rahim, Mahmudullah, M. Hossain, M. Hasan, Saifuddin, M. Rahman.

India XI : V. Kohli (C), R. Sharma, KL Rahul, Pant, Dhoni (WK), K. Jadhav, H. Pandya, K. Yadav, Shami, Bumrah, Chahal.

Prediction

I expect an Indian win here, knocking Bangladesh out of the World Cup.
