Team India aim to finish the series in Thiruvananthapuram against The Windies

India vs The West Indies
India will play The West Indies tomorrow in the fifth ODI
India and The West Indies are set to go head to head in the fifth ODI of the five match series in Trivandrum tomorrow. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 1st November 2018, 1:30 PM IST

Venue : Greenfield Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram

Team India after the successful last ODI will be high on confidence and will be looking forward to the next game. If they win they win the series but the opposite will certainly be disastrous.

The Batsman have been in fine form whole series and will once again be asked for contributing for one very last time. While the Bowlers will be expected to deliver performance one similar to the previous game.

India have three T20I’s coming up next.

On the other hand, The Windies will be very disappointed after the last ODI where neither their Batters nor their Bowlers contributed. They were brilliant in the second and third ODI’s and should look to repeat those performances.

They know they can’t win the series but they will certainly take the draw.

India is on the up in terms of their head to head in ODI’s against The Windies and on Thursday will look to continue that.

Team news and possible line-ups

Keemo Paul is available for The West Indies for tomorrow’s game and might play.

As for India, they will likely play the same XI as in the previous game.

West Indies XI : J. Holder (C), K. Powell, S. Hope (WK), Samuels, Hetmyer, R. Powell, Hemraj, Nurse, Roach, K. Paul, F. Allen.

India XI : Kohli (C), R. Sharma, Dhawan, Rayudu, Dhoni (WK), K. Jadhav, R. Jadeja, K. Ahmed, B. Kumar, K. Yadav, Bumrah.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but in the end I expect India to win the game and the series in Thiruvananthapuram.
