With players like Alan Pulido making a shift of leagues, it is evident of the growing in popularity of MLS.

The US, MLS has raised their standards and add the opportunity for Mexican players to get into the national team.

In Liga MX the Mexican strikers are more subbed but in the MLS they have more of an opportunity to play more frequently.

Even Javier Hernandez plying his trade in Europe has joined Los Angeles Galaxy instead of a club in his native Mexico.

The rivalry between the two leagues will not fade anytime soon and Mexican players seem to see US as a good destination.
