France take on Austria in UEFA Nations League 2022/23 at home as the tournament moves ahead. France go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Stade de France, Saint-Denis

France are at the moment bottom of the group in League A Group 1. They are on two points from 4 games. They will look to win their final two games.

Les Bleus drew two and lost two in June. They must give it their all now as the World Cup lures. They are not conceding as much but they need to be clinical up front.

Boss Didier Deschamps might use the 4-2-3-1 system as they aim for the three points.

On the other hand, Austria too are at the bottom of the group and must look to win the final two games. Austria will look to play quality football.

Austrian side won one game, drew two games and lost one in June. They know France are a world class team and they will need to play out of their skins.

Manager Ralf Rangnick will likely use a 4-4-2 formation against the French.

France have a long list of injuries ahead of the midweek clash with the likes of Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante and Anthony Martial all absent.

As for Austria Sasa Kalajdzic and Konrad Laimer are both out injured. While Kevin Danso is suspended.

Prediction

France will be extreme favourites to win this game but they should not have any slip ups else Austria are a good side. France to win 2-0.
