India won the second T20 International in Lauderhill to claim a famous T20I series win over the Windies yesterday. India registered a 22 run DL method win.

West Indies will be very disappointed by the efforts of them in the US. They would have expected much highly from themselves in this T20I series. But they came short.

Virat Kohli and co. will be feeling satisfied with their performance over the course of two days. They now look forward to a clean sweep in the T20 series to start the Caribbean tour. Next game’s in Guyana in Southern America after North America.

Both the game saw Indian bowlers bowling fine lengths which West Indies found difficult to play. While Batting was better in the second game.

Talking about the second T20 international it was a game in which weather helped India ease their efforts of winning. Weather became bad in the 16th over of the West Indies innings after which the match couldn’t be completed and Duckworth-lewis came into play.

West Indies was not on DLS par of 120 when bad weather stopped play and were behind in the game. Indian bowlers and especially Krunal Pandya should be credited with him picking two wickets including a set Rovman Powell.

India won the toss in both games which proved to be crucial. In 2nd T20I Virat won the toss and bat first and made significant 167 on the board. Rohit Sharma continued his good form.

The World Cup disappointment now should be a bit forgotten as we now return normal bilateral series modes. A win against a very good T20 side in West Indies should be counted as an achievement.

We now look forward to the ODI and Test leg of the tour.
