India will play The West Indies today in the third and final T20I of the three match series as both teams look towards playing each other in ODI’s and Tests. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 6th August 2019, 8:00 PM IST

Venue : Providence Stadium, Guyana

India have had a wonderful T20I series and will now be hoping to continue the successful run going. They will have to play their brand of cricket.

What we have learned over the course of the two games is that West Indies have been very under prepared. They didn’t seem like challenging India or playing the way T20 cricket is played.

India should take full advantage of this and try to win the final game to put question marks over the Caribbean side. 3-0 will be very resounding and Indian cricket will only move further with this against a T20 genius in West Indies.

On the other hand, West Indies after a string of weak performances will look forward to get back on winning track. They will look forward to outplaying India.

Batting didn’t click in the first T20I and bowling was the cause of the loss in the second game. They will learn from this and execute everything to plan to bring joy back to Caribbean public.

The third game’s in Guyana meaning a slow wicket to which West Indies will be accustomed as it’s their own backyard and they will give their absolute all.

India are ahead against The Windies in T20I head to head and they will look to take positives from the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

West Indies are likely going to play the same Xi as in the previous game.

As for Team India, KL Rahul is available and will likely play.

West Indies XI : E. Lewis, S. Narine, Pooran (WK), Hetmyer, R. Powell, Pollard, C. Brathwaite (C), K. Paul, S. Cottrell, O. Thomas, K. Pierre.

India XI : KL Rahul, Dhawan, Kohli (C), Pant (WK), S. Iyer, K. Pandya, R. Jadeja, W. Sundar, D. Chahar, R. Chahar, K. Ahmed.

Prediction

I expect an Indian clean sweep here, them to register a win in the third T20I .
