India tour of England 2022 – 2nd T20I, match preview, predicted lineups

Eng vs Innd
India and England battle in the 2nd T20I of the 3-match series in Birmingham

India will play England in the second T20 International of the 3-match series as India tour of England 2022 moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date & Time : 9th July 2022, 2:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Edgbaston, Birmingham

Team India after a good opening game victory over England to start off the limited-overs series versus England will now look to capitalise and win the contests. They will look to play their brand of cricket.

Indian team batted well in the first T20 to amass a large total and they would be required to do the same in the second game. Bowling wise they will again be looking forward to take ten wickets.

They play their next game on the 10th.

On the other hand, England will be disappointed the way they lost the first T20 International and will look to make amends. They now have to win the remaining two T20I’s to win the T20 series.

English bowling was not upto the mark in the first game while their batting didn’t live upto the expectation either. They will have to be at their all time best against India.

For the wicket, It’s a good one for batting.

Team news and possible lineups

There are no fresh injury concerns for both sides at the moment.

India XI : R. Sharma (C), Kishan, Kohli, Hooda/S. Yadav, H. Pandya, Pant (WK), D. Karthik, H. Patel, B. Kumar, Bumrah, Chahal.

England XI : Roy, Buttler (C&WK), D. Malan, Ali, Livingstone, Brook, S. Curran, Jordan, T. Mills, Topley, Parkinson.

Prediction

I expect India to be the favoured team and they will come all guns blazing trying to topple England at home. Them to win the series.
