Team India eye another win against Bangladesh in the Nidahas Trophy

India vs Bangladesh
India will play Bangladesh on Wednesday in the fifth match of 2018 Nidahas Trophy
India are set to play Bangladesh on Wednesday in their last league match of 2018 Nidahas Trophy. India go into this game as the favorites.

Date and Time : 14th March 2018, 7:00 PM IST

Venue : R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

India are back to winning ways after the loss in the first game as they have won two games back to back. They have almost sealed their spot in the final and win on Wednesday will guarantee their spot.

India had a good game against Sri Lanka on Monday as the bowlers bowled well and restricted the hosts and the batters did their job to help the team win. A similar effort is needed against a spirited Bangladesh side on Wednesday night.

On the other hand, The Bangladeshi’s will be in a positive frame of mind after a stunning victory over the hosts on Saturday. They chased down over 200+ runs and registered one of the greatest T20I wins of all time. It was a memorable day for Bangladesh cricket.

The Bangla Tigers though have a mammoth task in hand against a team like India, who they have never beaten in T20I’s.

Team news and possible line-ups

Bangladeshis are likely going to stick with the same playing XI as in their last game.

As for India, they too are going to stick with their winning combination as in the last game.

Bangladesh XI : T. Iqbal, L. Das, S. Sarkar, M. Rahim (WK), Mahmudullah (C), S. Rahman, M. Hasan, T. Ahmed, R. Hossain, N. Islam, M. Rahman.

India XI : R. Sharma (C), Dhawan, Raina, M. Pandey, D. Karthik (WK), KL Rahul, V. Shankar, Thakur, J. Unadkat, Chahal, W. Sundar.

Prediction

I expect India to win this match and seal their spot in the final.
