Manchester United eye quarter-final berth in 2017/18 Champions League

Manchester United are set to play Sevilla in the second leg of the round of 16 tie of the 2017/18 Champions League on Tuesday. United go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 7:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Old Trafford, Manchester

Man United drew with Sevilla away in the first leg of the round of 16 in February and will now be hoping for a victory to secure passage to the next round.

United are in some good form at the moment and are back from a fantastic win over Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend. They should be in a positive frame of mind ahead of the crucial Champions League game.

On the other hand, Sevilla lost to Valencia in La Liga at the weekend and will be a little disappointed. They know that they face another sterner test against a club like Man United away in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Sevilla though lead the head to head against Man United out of the two games played so far between the two.

Team news and possible line-ups

Sevilla will be without Daniel Carrico and Sebastian Corchia as both are out injured. While Miguel Layun is ineligible for to play.

As for Man United, Anthony Martial, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo are all doubtful for the Tuesday night game. While Phil Jones, Daley Blind and Zlatan Ibrahimovic remain sidelined.

Sevilla XI : Rico, Kjaer, Lenglet, Arana, Escudero, Banega, Correa, Nzonzi, Sarabia, Ben Yedder, Muriel.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Lindelof, Bailly, Smalling, Shaw, Mata, Lingard, Carrick, Young, Lukaku, Sanchez.

Prediction

I expect Man United to get the job done and reach the quarter-finals. They might win 2-0 on the night with goals from Lukaku and Sanchez.
