Premier League 2022/23 – Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur, match preview, predicted lineups

Ars vs Tot
Arsenal will play Tottenham Hotspur today in the Premier League

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur go head to head on Saturday in the Premier League after the international break as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

Arsenal went to the international break on top of the Premier League points table and they will dearly like to keep it the same way till the end of the season.

The Gunners won in mid September against Brentford away 3-0. They are in a winning and goal scoring form and they will try to keep it that way when hosting rivals Spurs and have a shot at the three points.

Manager Mikel Arteta will probably deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur are 3rd in the points table as the international break is over. They will look to overtake rivals Man City at the second spot.

Spurs won their last fixture against Leicester City 6-2 at home and they will be confident coming into this fixture. They will look to give their all against a good Gunners side and improve their record at the Emirates.

Boss Antonio Conte might deploy a 3-4-2-1 formation on Saturday.

Team news and possible lineups

Mohamed Elneny, Emile Smith Rowe and Cedric Soares are all injured for the Gunners ahead of the weekend clash. While Kieran Tierney, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey will likely play.

As for Spurs, Hugo Lloris is injured and is doubtful.

Arsenal XI : Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Xhaka, Partey, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Jesus.

Tottenham Hotspur XI : Lloris, Romero, Dier, Lenglet, Perisic, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon, Richarlison, Kane, Son.

Prediction

If Arsenal have a perfect game then Tottenham should have difficulties else I think a draw maybe on the cards. A 2-2 I think.
