The Kiwis have shown brilliant form so far in this World Cup as they mustered 200 against Australia after which a rain-washed game against Afghanistan gave them a point as well. They will now look to carry on the momentum.

They know Sri Lanka as opponents will be quite tough and they need to produce their best cricket to trouble them. They know the conditions will favour them.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka too haven’t been bad that much in the tournament so far especially in the Super 12 after a good win against Ireland and of course a big defeat at the hands of Australia.

The Lankans will look to make their mark in the World Cup and truly kickstart their campaign against quality opponents in New Zealand. The conditions will be alien for them though.

For the wicket, It will be helpful for both batting and bowling as teams will look to score high.
