Manchester United after their disappointing showing in 2018/19 UEFA Champions League against Barcelona in the quarter-finals will now be hoping for better performances in the Premier League. The Red Devils will have to play quality football.

Man United are at present sixth in the points table after 33 games with 64 points. Against Everton they have to be classy especially away to be able to enjoy success.

The Red Devils have their next three games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Huddersfield in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Everton are doing OK in 2018/19 Premier League but they will love to finish higher at the end of the season.

The Toffees are currently ninth in the points table after 34 games with 46 points. In Manchester United they have got high quality opponents against whom a lot will be asked of them and they will need to play awesome football.

Manchester United have a good record against Everton and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Morgan Schneiderlin and Tom Davies are both available for Everton for the Manchester United game and will likely play.

As for The Red Devils, Nemanja Matic is available and will likely play.

Everton XI : Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Dalot, Smalling, Lindelof, Young, Matic, Pogba, Fred, Lingard, Lukaku, Rashford.

Prediction

It should be a good game between two good sides but in the end I expect Manchester United to get the job done and earn three points. They might win 1-0.
