Liverpool eye victory against Spurs away in 2018/19 Premier League

Liverpool vs Tottenham
Liverpool will play Tottenham on Saturday in the Premier League
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are set to go head to head on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Kick-off : 12:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Wembley Stadium, London

Liverpool so far have had a perfect start to their new Premier League season winning all the games played. They will be looking to continue the winning run when they take on Tottenham away at the coming weekend.

Liverpool are currently first in the points table after 4 games with 12 points ahead of Chelsea and Watford on goal difference. The Reds though know that they will be extremely challenged at The Wembley on Saturday afternoon against a good side in Spurs. They will need to be at their very best and hope for the best.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur have had a good start too to their new Premier League season except to that one off loss against Watford just before the International break.

Spurs will now be hoping to revive their ongoing campaign and probably get a win at home against giants Liverpool on Saturday.

Tottenham next play Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League.

Team news and possible line-ups

Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela are doubtful for Tottenham Hotspur for the weekend game.

As for Liverpool, Simon Mignolet and Adam Lallana are both doubts. While Dejan Lovren remains sidelined.

Tottenham Hotspur XI : Vorm, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Trippier, Dembele, Dier, Davies, Eriksen, Moura, Kane.

Liverpool XI : Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Gomez, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Prediction

I expect it to be a closely fought game between two of Premier League’s top sides. May the best team on the day which commits less mistakes win the game.
