Arsenal eye victory against Newcastle away in 2018/19 Premier League

Arsenal vs Newcastle
Arsenal will play Newcastle on Saturday in the Premier League
Arsenal and Newcastle are set to play each other in the Premier League on Saturday as the season moves ahead. The Gunners go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 3:00 PM (Local)

Venue : St. James’ Park, Newcastle

Arsenal so far have had a mixed start to their new Premier League campaign, beginning with two successive losses after which registering two continuous victories. The Gunners will look to continue the winning momentum when they take on Newcastle on Saturday.

Arsenal though will be well aware of the fact that it won’t be easy away to get a victory. But they will need to be at their best and then things can change.

Arsenal will next play Vorskla in the UEFA Europa League.

On the other hand, Newcastle have had a poor start to their new Premier League campaign, loosing almost every game. They will be eager to register their first win of the season.

It will though be not easy at all against a team like Arsenal even if it’s a home game. So they will have to give their all on Saturday afternoon.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jonjo Shelvey and Matt Ritchie are both doubtful for Newcastle for the weekend game. While Florian Lejeune and Javier Manquillo remain sidelined.

As for Arsenal, Alex Iwobi is a doubt. Whereas Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lucas Torreira are both available and will likely play.

Newcastle XI : Dubravka, Lascelles, Clark, Yedlin, Dummett, Shelvey, Diame, Kenedy, Ritchie, Perez, Rondon.

Arsenal XI : Cech, Bellerin, Sokratis, Müstafi, Monreal, Guendouzi, Xhaka, Ramsey, M. Ozil, Aubameyang, A. Lacazette.

Prediction

I expect it to be a good game as both teams will give their all. I think it will be a 2-2 draw. The goalscorers might be Xhaka, Ozil, Perez, Rondon.
