Liverpool and Brighton are set to go head to head on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Reds go into this game as the favourites.

Liverpool didn’t had a good start to 2019 suffering two successive defeats. Their unbeaten run also ended meaning a lot of improvements are needed.

The Reds at the moment are top of the points table after 21 games with 54 points. In Brighton they have got tricky opponents against whom Liverpool will need to play their best football.

The Reds have their next three games against Crystal Palace, Leicester City and West Ham in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Brighton are doing fine in 2018/19 Premier League but would like to improve for sure going ahead.

The Seagulls are at the moment thirteenth in the points table after 21 games with 26 points. Against Liverpool they would like to bing their A game into play and hope for the best.

Brighton have their next three games against Manchester United, West From and Fulham across the Premier League and FA Cup respectively.

Liverpool have a good record against Brighton and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Bernardo will not be available for Brighton for the Liverpool game as due to injury. While Mathew Ryan and Alireza Jahanbakhsh will both be unavailable due to their country commitments.

As for The Reds, Virgil van Dijk is available and will likely play.

Brighton XI : Button, Montoya, Dunk, Duffy, Bong, March, Stephens, Gross, Propper, Locadia, Murray.

Liverpool XI : Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Firmino, Mane, Salah.

Prediction

It should be a goo game as both teams will give their all but in the end I expect Liverpool to get the job done and earn three points. They might win 2-0.
