Spain and England go head to head in Seville in 2018/19 UEFA Nations League

Spain vs England
Spain will host England on Monday in the Nations League
Spain and England are set to go head to head in the UEFA Nations League as the tournament moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Estadio Benito Villamarin, Seville

Spain the 2010 world champions have had a brilliant start to their 2018/19 UEFA Nations League campaign. They are currently unbeaten.

Spain are first in the group with six points after 2 games. They though know that the job is not over especially in a tough group featuring the likes of England and Croatia.

Spain beat England when the first time theses two teams met in the Nations League and that should be enough motivation of putting up another special performance.

Spain will play Croatia next in the Nations League.

On the other hand, England have had a poor start to their 2018/19 Nations League campaign and will be eager to register first win.

Playing Spain away is always tough but The Three Lions will be up for the challenge. They will have to give their all and hope for the best.

Spain have done well against England in recent times and will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jordan Henderson will not be available for England for the Monday game as due to suspension.

As for Spain, Paco Alcacer is available and will likely play.

England XI : Pickford, Walker, Gomez, Maguire, Chilwell, Maddison, E. Dier, R. Barkley, R. Sterling, H. Kane, M. Rashford.

Spain XI : De Gea, C. Azpilicueta, Nacho, S. Ramos, Alonso, Koke, S. Busquets, Thiago, Asensio, Rodrigo, P. Alcacer.

Prediction

It’s tough to predict the outcome of this match between two of the world’s best sides. May the best team on the day which commits less mistakes win the game.
