India aim to make it 5-1 in Centurion

India vs South Africa
India will play South Africa in the sixth ODI on Friday
Team India has already won the series as winning the Port Elizabeth ODI gave them an unassailable 4-1 lead in the six match series. But they would want to carry on the winning momentum in the Centurion ODI.

Date and Time : 16th February 2018, 4:30 PM IST

Venue : SuperSport Park, Centurion

India has had a perfect series so far, with the batters contributing runs and bowlers taking wickets. If it was not for that shortened game in Johannesburg, India would have been leading 5-0.

As for the South Africans they haven’t been able to play spin well and that has been one of the reasons for their downfall. They will hope of some respite in the final ODI.

Indian captain Virat Kohli said after winning the series that they want to win the series 5-1. That looks likely to happen as well if the current form of South Africa is anything to go by.

The pitch in Centurion looks likely to assist the slower bowlers. Also teams have won more batting first here in day-night games. So the captain who wins the toss will likely bat first.

Team news and possible line-ups

Seeing the wicket, South Africa might be tempted to play two spinners on Friday. It means Imran Tahir will come back into the team.

As for India, they will likely stick with the winning combination. Although with the series in the bag a few other guys like Manish Pandey might be given a chance.

South Africa XI : Markram, Amla, De Villiers, Duminy, Miller, Klaasen, Phehlukwayo, Rabada, Shamsi, Tahir, L. Ngidi.

India XI : R. Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli, Rahane, Iyer, Dhoni, H. Pandya, B. Kumar, K. Yadav, Chahal, Bumrah.

Prediction

India start this game as the favorites and looks good to register another win on Friday.
