India and South Africa will go head to head tomorrow in the third test being played in MS Dhoni’s hometown. India will once again be favourites going into this game.

Date and Time : 19th-23rd OCT 2019, 9:30 AM IST

Venue : JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi

Indian team have had a great time so far in the Test series with it being one sided. But it will become even more sweet if they win the third one and make it 3-0.

Of course it will take some doing but this is what the fans are after and the players will sure not look to disappoint them. For that they will need to play good cricket.

We have seen India bat beautifully in the series and one can expect their batters to again produce the goods.

Bowling wise India have been ahead again as we managed to win the two tests because of them picking up all the wickets.

An overall good effort in Ranchi shall see the team through as we look forward to the Bangladesh series.

On the other hand, South Africa have been very poor to say the least as they didn’t learn from their mistakes from the previous tour.

They know they have been found guilty and they must improve in their efforts. The Subcontinent or Asian conditions must be something they should look to improve their game on.

Leaving that aside, they will have to play the third and final test to finish the struggling tour. And coming out on top in that one sees little to none chances for me.

So they must learn to play in these conditions and it should be more of a process rather then an immediate success. All the best to the players.

Team news and possible line-ups

Keshav Maharaj and Aiden Markram will both be not available for South Africa for the Ranchi test as due to injury. As a result George Linde and Zubayr Hamza will both be roped into.

As for India, Kuldeep Yadav is available and might get a place in the playing XI.

South Africa XI : Elgar, De Bruyn, Bavuma, Du Plessis (C), Hamza, De Kock (WK), Philander, Linde, Nortje, Rabada, Ngidi.

India XI : R. Sharma, M. Agarwal, Pujara, Kohli (C), Rahane, Saha (WK), R. Jadeja, Ashwin, Shami, K. Yadav, U. Yadav.

Prediction

On current form it is easy to say it’s 3-0 India in Ranchi.
