Arsenal vs Manchester City
Arsenal will play Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League as both begin their 2018/19 campaigns
Arsenal and Man City are set to go head to head on Sunday in the Premier League as both begin their 2018/19 campaigns. Both teams will be looking for a win.

Kick-off : 4:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Emirates Stadium, London

Arsenal will be hoping for success and the beginning of a new era under new coach Unai Emery. The Gunners will look to bring back the glory days back and probably win the title.

Arsenal finished a disappointing sixth last season. They performed well in the pre season friendlies and will look to build upon that. But they know that they have got tough couple of games to begin with the 2018/19 Premier League as they take on City and Chelsea.

On the other hand, Man City had a dream run last season in the Premier League and eventually won it scoring 100 points. They will be confident of defending their title this term.

City had mixed success in the pre season friendlies but they will be up and ready for the Premier League when it comes.

Manchester City have been extremely successful against Arsenal in recent times and they will look to maintain that record.

Team news and possible line-ups

Danilo and Eliaquim Mangala will both be not available for City for the Sunday game. While Riyad Mahrez is available and will likely play.

As for Arsenal, Sead Kolasinac will be unavailable for the weekend game. Whereas Nacho Monreal is doubtful.

Manchester City XI : Ederson, Walker, Stones, Kompany, Mendy, Fernandinho, B. Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Aguero.

Arsenal XI : Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, Maitland-Niles, Torreira, Xhaka, Ramsey, Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang.

Prediction

I expect it to be a closely fought game, may the best team which commits less mistakes on the day win.
