Real Madrid eye victory in 2018 UEFA Super Cup against Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid will begin the new season with a UEFA Super Cup tie against rivals Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid won the 2017/18 Champions League as they made it a hat-trick of Champions League triumphs.
They have had less time to prepare for the new season as due to the world cup. But performed well in the pre season friendlies. They now know they have got a huge game coming up and will once again need to be in their winning mode. Real Madrid resume their La Liga duties on Sunday playing against Getafe.
On the other hand, Atletico Madrid won the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League and hence they earned the right to play the UEFA Super Cup.
Atleti will need to give their all and hope for the best on Wednesday against giants Real Madrid. Atletico play their first game of La Liga 2018/19 on Monday against Valencia.
