India and South Africa will go head to head tomorrow in 2nd T20I of the three match series in Mohali as the tour moves ahead. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 18th September 2019, 7:00 PM IST

Venue : PCA Stadium, Mohali

India didn’t had the opportunity to showcase their firepower a couple of days ago as rain played spoilsport in Dharamsala. But now they might be able to do so as the action shifts to Mohali.

The fans will be disappointed with that as the series is now cut off to just two games. But it is more interesting now as teams will need to play well to win the series or else it’s a draw.

As for Team India they will look to have a complete performance. It means batting wise, bowling wise and fielding wise a good game.

India need to have a good score on board if batting first tomorrow while bowling first they need to restrict South Africa for as low as possible.

On the other hand, South Africa too will be disappointed with the washed out game as it also vanished their chances of producing a result.

They will now shift focus to Mohali where they could upset the Indians to get to a winning start to the tour. but they need to play well.

The Proteas need to play spin well and bowl India out to have chances in games. Good luck to them.

India have a good record against South Africa in T20I’s and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

George Linde is available for South Africa and might get a place in the starting XI tomorrow.

As for Team India, Rahul Chahar is available and might get a place in the starting XI.

South Africa XI : Q. de Kock (C&WK), R. van der Dussen, R. Hendricks, Miller, Linde, Pretorius, Phehlukwayo, Nortje, Rabada, B. Hendricks, Shamsi.

India XI : R. Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli (C), Iyer, Pant (WK), H. Pandya, R. Jadeja, R. Chahar, K. Ahmed, D. Chahar, Saini.

Prediction

I expect India to win here and get the series up and running.
