Team India eye victory in Wellington ODI as they finish the successful series

India vs New Zealand
India will play New Zealand in the fifth ODI tomorrow
India and New Zealand are set to go head to head tomorrow in the fifth and final one-dayer as the series comes to a close. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date and Time : 3rd February 2019, 7:30 AM IST

Venue : Westpac Stadium, Wellington

Team India suffered a shocking loss to The Blackcaps on Thursday and will be very disappointed with that performance. They were totally outplayed in that game.

That loss came after a successful ODI series win as India won the first three games. It is time now to look so as to why we succumbed to a total as low as just 92 in the fourth one-dayer and quickly learn from the mistakes as we approach the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

New Zealand will look to win the final one-dayer but it’s India’s duty to show ruthlessness as we are now starting to have success overseas.

On the other hand, The Kiwis will be happy with the showing in the fourth game, a win which came after a string of defeats which were disheartening.

They will now simply aim for a 3-2 finish here. Batting and Bowling will again need to come good.

India are ahead in terms of the ODI head to head against New Zealand and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

New Zealand are probably going to play the same XI as in the previous game.

As for India, They too are probably going to play the same XI as in the previous game.

New Zealand XI : K. Williamson (C), Guptill, H. Nicholls, R. Taylor, Latham (WK), C. de Grandhomme, Neesham, Santner, T. Astle, M. Henry, T. Boult.

India XI : R. Sharma (C), Dhawan, S. Gill, Rayudu, D. Karthik, Jadhav, H. Pandya, B. Kumar, K. Yadav, Chahal, K. Ahmed.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but in the end I expect India to win this game and the series 4-1.
