Team India eye victory against Afghanistan in their final match of 2018 Asia Cup Super Four

India vs Afghanistan
India will play Afghanistan on Tuesday in the Super Four stage of 2018 Asia Cup
India and Afghanistan are set to play each other on Tuesday in the 2018 Asia Cup as the tournament moves ahead. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 25th September 2018, 5:00 PM IST

Venue : Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

India have already qualified for the final to be played on the 28th September courtesy of their big win against Pakistan on Sunday night. India were at their best against Pakistan especially batting wise in the game yesterday.

They will look to get another win on Tuesday night against a good Afghanistan side to have them in good stead for the final. Team India are unbeaten so far in the tournament, this should have the players in a positive frame of mind.

On the other hand, Afghanistan are out of the tournament and on Tuesday will be out their to play for pride against juggernauts India.

Afghanistan have been the surprise package so far in the tournament having knocked out Sri Lanka and making it to the Super Four’s. But know against India it will be a different test who defeated them in a Test match earlier this year.

Team news and possible line-ups

Afghanistan are unlikely to alter their playing XI from the previous match.

As for India, they too are likely to remain unchanged from their previous game against Pakistan.

Afghanistan XI : A. Afghan (C), Shahzad (WK), R. Shah, Janat, H. Shahidi, M. Nabi, Shenwari, R. Khan, M. Ur Rahman, A. Alam, Naib.

India XI : R. Sharma (C), S. Dhawan, A. Rayudu, D. Karthik, Dhoni (WK), K. Jadhav, R. Jadeja, B. Kumar, K. Yadav, J. Bumrah, Y. Chahal.

Prediction

I expect India to win this game and remain unbeaten in the tournament.
