Team India will play The West Indies on Wednesday in the third and final ODI of the three match series as both teams look to win. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 14th August 2019, 7:00 PM IST

Venue : Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain

India should be very happy with their performances on this tour so far. They have been outstanding and clinical. They will need to carry on playing their brand of cricket for the rest of the tour.

Another game awaits against Windies which is another one-dayer meaning a good opportunity to show the gulf in class nowadays between us and the Caribbeans who are predominantly T20 players.

The whole team have been contributing in the wins so far, whether be it the bowlers or the batters or the fielders. All again need to be right on the money in the final ODI.

We have seen the wicket not to be much of a high scoring one as in the previous game. So bat first and score 250+ while if bowling try and restrict the opponent to below 200.

On the other hand, The West Indies must be disappointed the way they have played throughout the series. They will look to play improved cricket.

Windies know India won’t give them a chance in the series so they need to play to the best of their abilities as they can. The Batting needs to click, so does the bowling to have chances against this Indian side.

A lot depends on the toss as well but they need to play well.

India are behind in terms of the ODI head to head against The Windies and they will look to improve upon the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

Fabian Allen is available for The West Indies and might play against India.

As for Team India, Navdeep Saini is available and might play.

West Indies XI : E. Lewis, Gayle, S. Hope (WK), Hetmyer, Pooran, Holder (C), F. Allen, Brathwaite, Roach, Cottrell, O. Thomas.

India XI : R. Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli (C), Pant (WK), K. Jadhav, S. Iyer, R. Jadeja, K. Yadav, B. Kumar, N. Saini, K. Ahmed.

Prediction

I expect an Indian win here and complete ODI series whitewash.
