India vs Australia
India will play Australia in the fifth ODI tomorrow
India will play Australia in the fifth ODI tomorrow of the five match series of Australia’s 2019 India tour as the tour comes to a close. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Date and Time : 13th March 2019, 1:30 PM IST

Venue : Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi

Team India after their heartbreaking loss on Sunday at the hands of Australia will hope to give a performance which wins them the series. They were poor on Sunday bowling wise.

After piling up 350+ runs they really should have been able to defend the total but they couldn’t so it raises a lot of question marks. If they perform similarly in the fifth game then the series is gone.

At Delhi the conditions will be different and both the Batters and Bowlers will have to come good to seal the ODI series. Remember they have already lost the T20I series.

On the other hand, Australia will be pleased with their performances in the last two ODI’s. This gives them the confident to pull off a historic ODI series win in the subcontinent.

They will be up for it and surely both the batters and bowlers will be looking forward to it. Australia are world champions for a reason and at Delhi they will have to produce yet another world class performance.

India are behind in terms of the ODI head to head against Australia and they will look to improve upon the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

Nathan Lyon is available for Australia for the fifth ODI and will likely play.

As for India, they are going to likely play the same XI as in the previous game.

Australia XI : Finch (C), Khawaja, S. Marsh, Handscomb, Maxwell, Turner, Carey (WK), Cummins, J. Richardson, Zampa, N. Lyon.

India XI : R. Sharma, Dhawan, Kohli (C), KL Rahul, Pant (WK), Jadhav, V. Shankar, B. Kumar, K. Yadav, Chahal, Bumrah.

Prediction

It’s difficult to predict the outcome of this game between two of the best ODI teams in the world. May the best team on the day which commits less mistakes win the game and the trophy.
