Tata IPL 2022 – SRH vs RR, match preview, predicted lineups

SRH vs RR
Match no. 5 of IPL 2022 between SRH and RR takes place today

Sunrisers Hyderabad takes on Rajasthan Royals in Tata IPL 2022 as the season moves ahead. Both of these teams will be looking for a win today.

Date & Time : 29th March 2022, 7:30 PM IST

Venue : MCA Stadium, Pune

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a poor IPL last season when they finished eighth in the table. Finishing last meant it was one of their worst IPL’s in history. So they will be determined of a good IPL this time around.

SRH will be captained this year by Kiwi maestro Kane Williamson. Trevor Bayliss is their head coach. They know they will have to play their brand of cricket in this IPL as it is successful.

With players like Aiden Markram, Glenn Phillips, Nicholas Pooran, Bhuvneshwar Kumar amongst their ranks, they are a quality side with which are well balanced. They will look to churn out the results.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals too had a poor IPL last season in which they finished 2nd last. They will be determined of a more successful campaign the year round.

RR will be captained by wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson. Andrew McDonald and Paddy Upton will need to carve out a winning strategy. RR too plays their brand of cricket.

Rajasthan have quality players amongst their ranks including Rassie van der Dussen, Daryl Mitchell, Trent Boult, Ravi Ashwin, Devdutt Paddikal. So they will be looking forward to a great battle.

In terms of the head to head Sunrisers Hyderabad have the upper hand & have won 8 matches compared to 7 of Rajasthan out of the 15 played.

The wicket in Pune will help fast bowlers certainly but batsman will score runs and teams will look to chase more often.
