Real Madrid will host Sevilla on Saturday in LaLiga as the season moves ahead. Los Blancos start this game as favourites.

Kick-off : 4:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid

Real Madrid are fresh from winning the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia just about a week ago. Now the things get tight in LaLiga.

Real Madrid are tied at the top with Barcelona with 40 points in 19 games. The teams are separated only on goal difference.

Zidane’s men fresh from adding another trophy to their cabinet will feel comfortable in front of their home fans but Sevilla can’t be taken lightly.

That said they have not lost to Sevilla in La Liga at the Bernabeu since December 2008. Also the current form is an indication of things to come. The capital giants have started this year on a high and they have been good at home this season.

Sevilla on the other hand, are enjoying a good fourth position in La Liga at the moment after some good performances this season.

Los Palanganas have won ten games, drawing five so far collecting 35 points. They are levelled with Atletico on points. Julen Lopetegui’s side are only five points off the top of the table, which is impressive.

Sevilla are challenging for the Champions League spots for the 2020-21 campaign. But they have a huge task at their hands.

Sevilla are in good form at the moment having won three of their last four games across all competitions. Real Madrid will be a real tester.

Real Madrid will be without Federico Valverde for this game through suspension following his red card against Atletico. While Marco Asensio and Eden Hazard remain on the sidelines.

Karim Benzema and Luka Jovic both didn’t train on Wednesday although the latter have more chances of playing.

Gareth Bale has overcome illness and could be involved against Sevilla. While Sergio Ramos will play.

Isco should also keep his spot in the side despite the presence of Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior.

As for Sevilla, key player Lucas Ocampos, who have been amongst goals this season, will miss out through suspension having picked up a booking last time out against Bilbao, while Joan Jordan is a doubt through injury.

Ever Banega, Diego Carlos and Oliver Torres are all available and will play, but Javier Hernandez is unlikely to be involved as the Mexico international continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Mendy; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Bale, Jovic, Isco

Sevilla possible starting lineup: Vaclik; Navas, Carrico, Carlos, Kounde; Banega, Fernando, Jordan; Torres, Munir, Vazquez

Prediction

We say : Real Madrid 2-1 Sevilla

Real Madrid are in winning mood and this might convert into another good home win.
