Real Madrid and Liverpool are set to go head to head in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday. Both teams will be eager for success here.

Venue : NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium, Kiev

Real Madrid will probably be the hungriest of the two teams to lift the champions league trophy come May 26 as it will make it a hat-trick of UCL tournament victories for them.

Los Blancos have won the last two finals of the champions league against Atletico Madrid and Juventus respectively but know Liverpool provides a test of a different stature.

On the other hand, Liverpool will too be eager for success in a tournament which they generally excel and is their favorites. The Reds would be in a desperate need of a UCL title considering they last won it in 2005.

Jurgen Klopp’s men though know it will be no easy task against the likes of giant of a club in Real Madrid to win the UCL final against as they too do well in champions league tournaments.

Both teams are leveled on the head to head as both have won 2 games apiece out of the four that they have played so far.


Team news and possible line-ups

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be not be available for Liverpool for the champions league final as due to injury.

As for Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane have no players being suspended ahead of the Saturday night game.

Real Madrid XI : Navas, Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo, Kroos, Casemiro, Modric, Vazquez, Ronaldo, Benzema.

Prediction

It’s tough to predict the outcome of this match as both teams are equal on paper, may the best team on the night win.
