Manchester United and Leicester City are set to play each other on Friday night as both begin their 2018/19 Premier League campaign. United go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Old Trafford, Manchester

Man United will be aiming to go one up and finish first this season in the Premier League than last season as they take on Leicester City on Friday. United had less time to prepare for the 2018/19 season as due to the world cup.

The Red Devils had mixed success in the pre season friendlies but will need to quickly find rythm ahead of the Premier League opener.

On the other hand, Leicester City the 2015/16 Premier League champions will too be hoping to repeat the feat this season as they begin their campaign on Friday.

Leicester performed well in the pre season friendlies and are ready for the new season. But they know that in their opening game they will have to play out of their skins against giants United especially at their home.

Man United have has been extremely successful in recent times against Leicester and they will look to maintain that record.

Team news and possible line-ups

Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy will both be unavailable for the Friday night game for Leicester. While James Maddison is doubtful.

As for Man United, Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, Phil Jones and Romelu Lukaku are all doubts.

Leicester City XI : Schmeichel, Chilwell, Morgan, Simpson, Ndidi, Iborra, Pereira, Gray, Albrighton, Iheanacho.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Darmian, Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, A. Pereira, Mata, Rashford, Sanchez.

Prediction

I think it should be a close game as both teams will give their all but United certainly have the home advantage. I expect Man United to win 4-2.
