Man United eye win against Brighton away in 2017/18 Premier League

United vs Brighton
The Red Devils will play Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night in the Premier League
Man United are set to play Brighton and Hove Albion away on Friday night in the Premier League as the season nears it’s conclusion. United go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Amex Stadium, Falmer

Manchester United are fresh from their 2-1 victory over Arsenal and will be in a positive frame of mind. They will be eyeing win away against Brighton but shouldn’t be complacent.

United will look to seal that 2nd spot and have three games left to do so. They currently are on 77 points after 35 games. Man United will play in next season’s UCL.

On the other hand, Brighton are currently out of danger as they are not in the relegation zone but know that they need to keep looking for positive results. They would be quite happy to get a draw last weekend against Burnley but know United will be a different test altogether.

So far Man United and Brighton have played each other on 18 occasions. Out of that United have won on 12 occasions while the Seagulls have just won once. Five other games have been a draw.

Team news and possible line-ups

Davy Propper returns for Brighton after suspension. While Steve Sidwell will be unavailable for the Friday night game as due to injury.

As for Manchester United, Romelu Lukaku will not be available against Brighton as due to injury. Whereas Eric Bailly, Sergio Romero and Phil Jones are all doubtful.

Brighton XI : Ryan, Schelotto, Duffy, Dunk, Bong, Stephens, Propper, Izquierdo, Knockaert, Gross, Murray.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, Young, Matic, Pogba, Herrera, Sanchez, Rashford, Mata.

Prediction

I expect Manchester United to get the job done and earn three points. I think they will win 2-1.
