Man United eye victory against Young Boys as they begin their 2018/19 UEFA Champions League campaign

Manchester United will play Young Boys on Wednesday night in the Champions League
Manchester United are set to play Young Boys on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League as both begin their campaigns. United go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Stade de Suisse Wankdorf, Bern

Manchester United will be aiming for a winning start when they face Swiss outfit Young Boys in the Champions League as they hope to lift the title in 2019. Man United know that they are capable of doing so.

United are almost certain of a place in the next round although have got a tricky group containing the likes of Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys. The start is certainly the key.

The Red Devils will next face Valencia in the UCL after which they face Ronaldo’s Juventus.

On the other hand, Young Boys will be out their to gain experience and if possible maybe progress further to the next round.

They know they are in a tough group and their first game is a tough one too. But they will need to give their all and hope for the best.

So far Manchester United and Young Boys have never played each other.

Team news and possible line-ups

Jordan Lotomba, Gregory Wuthrich, Pedro Teixeira and Sandro Lauper will all be unavailable for Young Boys for the Wednesday night game.

As for Manchester United, Luke Shaw is doubtful. While Marouane Fellaini and Marcus Rashford are both available and might play.

Young Boys XI : Von Ballmoos, Mbabu, Camara, Von Bergen, Benito, Sulejmani, Sanogo, Sow, Fassnacht, Hoarau, Ngamaleu.

Manchester United XI : De Gea, Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Fred, Rashford, Lukaku, Sanchez.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all. I think it will be a 2-2 draw.
