Liverpool vs Swansea City
Liverpool will play Swansea City on Monday in the Premier League
Liverpool are set to play Swansea City on Monday night in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Reds go into this game as the favorites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Liberty Stadium, Swansea

Liverpool are currently fourth on the table with 47 points from 23 games. They trail table toppers Manchester City by 18 points with a game in hand. They know they need to keep getting positive results.

Liverpool defeated Manchester City last weekend and will be in a positive frame of mind ahead of their trip to Swansea.

On the other hand, Swansea City are currently last in the points table with just 17 points from 23 games. They are lying in the relegation zone and desperately need to keep having positive results.

Swansea City drew with Newcastle last weekend and will be facing a sterner test against Liverpool at home.

So far Liverpool and Swansea City have played each other 42 times. Out of that Liverpool have won 23 times while loosing 11 times, 8 other games have been a draw.

Team news and possible line-ups

Tammy Abraham is a doubt for Swansea ahead of the Monday game. While Wilfried Bony is available and will play against the Reds.

Also Mike Van der Hoorn, Renato Sanches and Angel Rangel are available.

As for Liverpool, Mohamed Salah, Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan are available and might play against Swansea. While Virgil van Dijk is back from injury.

Although Jordan Henderson and Alberto Moreno will not be available as due to injuries.

Swansea City XI : Fabianski, Van der Hoorn, Bartley, Mawson, Olsson, Dyer, Sung-yueng, Clucas, Carroll, Ayew, McBurnie.

Liverpool XI : Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Robertson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Prediction

I expect Liverpool to get the job done and earn three points against bottom side Swansea on Monday night.
