Liverpool will play Cardiff City on Sunday in 2018/19 Premier League as the season nears it’s completion. The Reds go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 4:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff

Liverpool after their success in 2018/19 UEFA Champions League will have their focuses now back to winning the Premier League. They need to maintain the standard and keep playing quality football.

The Reds are at present second in the points table after 34 games with 85 points. In Cardiff City they have got opponents against whom three points are a good possibility and they will play well to achieve it.

Liverpool have their next three games against Huddersfield, Barcelona and Newcastle across the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League respectively.

On the other hand, Cardiff City have had a poor season and they are on the brink of elimination and need to play better football with some luck to avoid that.

Cardiff City are currently eighteenth in the points table after 34 games with just 31 points. Against Liverpool they will have to play out of their skins to avoid defeat giving their all and hoping for the best.

Liverpool have a poor record against Cardiff City and they will love to change the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

Bamba, Connolly and Paterson will all be not available for Cardiff City for the Liverpool game as due to injuries.

As for The Reds, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be unavailable as due to injury.

Cardiff City XI : Etheridge, Peltier, E. Manga, Morrison, Bennett, Murphy, Gunnarsson, Ralls, V. Camarasa, Hoilett, Niasse.

Prediction

I expect Liverpool to dominate and win this this game comfortably in the end. They might win 2-0.
