Liverpool eye victory against Brighton at home in 2018/19 Premier League

Liverpool vs Brighton
Liverpool will play Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League
Liverpool are set to play Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League as the season moves ahead. The Reds go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 5:30 PM (Local)

Venue : Anfield, Liverpool

Liverpool won both of their opening games this season and must be in a positive frame of mind. They will be eyeing another victory in their next game.

Liverpool have a good chance to secure another three points as they play Brighton next. But they know they can’t be complacent and will need to give their all.

The Reds have their next three games against Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. So a few important games coming up.

On the other hand, Brighton lost their opening game of the season to Watford but registered a famous win over giants Manchester United next.

But their road doesn’t get easy as they play Liverpool next. It will be a tough game but they will need to give their all and hope or the best.

The Reds have been doing well against Brighton in recent times and will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Lewis Dunk will be unavailable for Brighton for the weekend game as due to injury. While Bruno is doubtful.

As for Liverpool, Joel Matip is available and will likely play.

Brighton XI : Ryan, Montoya, Duffy, Balogan, Bong, Knockaert, Stephens, Propper, March, Gross, Murray.

Liverpool XI : Alisson, T. Alexander-Arnold, V. Van Dijk, J. Matip, Robertson, J. Milner, G. Wijnaldum, N. Keita, M. Salah, R. Firmino, S. Mane.

Prediction

It should be a good game as both teams will give their all but Liverpool have an edge. I expect the Reds to win this game 3-1. The goalscorers might be Mohammed Salah, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino.
