Inter Milan and Juventus will play each other on Sunday in the Italian Serie A as the battle for the top continues.

Inter Milan have been good all season in Serie A this term and will look to win games in the time remaining.

The Nerazzurri are currently third in the points table after 29 matches with 60 points. They trail AC Milan by six points with a game in hand at the top of the table.

Manager Simone Inzaghi will use his 3-5-2 formation in this game as they must churn a positive result.

Inter drew their last fixture against Fiorentina at home as Dumfries came to the rescue. After Juventus, Nerazzurri will welcome Verona in home game next week.

On the other hand, Juventus didn’t had a perfect season till this point and are in process of maybe sneaking in top positions to their standard.

Juve are currently fourth in the points table after 30 games with 59 points. They are trailing opponents Inter by a point having played a game extra.

The old lady trail Milan by seven points and with no such big fixtures forthcoming after the Inter game, Juve can catch up.

Boss Massimiliano Allegri might utilise the 4-4-2 system as they will try to defend well.

In terms of the head to head Juventus lead 15-11 to Inter, with 5 games ending in a draw.

Team news and possible lineups

Juventus have no fresh injury concerns at the moment.

As for Inter, Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic are unavailable due to calf injuries. But Lautaro Martinez returns after overcoming COVID-19 infection.

Juventus XI (4-4-2) : Szczesny, Danilo, De Ligt, Chiellini, De Sciglio, Cuadrado, Zakaria, Locatelli, Rabiot, Morata, Vlahovic.

Prediction

I think this game being of outmost importance for both teams will be well fought and I agree on a stalemate 1-1.
