Italy will take on Armenia on Thursday in UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers as both teams will have hopes for qualifying for the showpiece event. Italy go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, Yerevan

Italy after having an excellent campaign so far in the qualifiers for Euro will look to continue the good work and play the brand of football which is top notch.

Gli Azzurri are at the moment first in the points table after four games with full 12 points intact. They have a goal difference of +12.

All their opponents like Finland, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia and Liechtenstein are are pretty much off the pace.

Armenia away should be a different proposition which Italy will be confident about giving their all and coming up with the three points.

The defensive solidity is Italy’s strength and threat moving ahead is a deadly combination of which teams crave for.

On the other hand, Armenia have done not that bad themselves and are on path to improvement. Quality football should be their top priority.

The Havaqakan are at present third in the points table after four games with six points in their kitty. Away win over Greece should be a confidence booster.

Armenia does have capabilities of defending and they must play out of their skins against the Italians. And attack on counter to whatever opportunities their are in the game. Good luck to them.

Italy have a good record against Armenia and they will look to build on that.

Team news and possible line-ups

Henrikh Mkhitaryan will captain the Armenian side against Italy.
