Date and Time : 3rd July 2018, 10:00 PM IST

Venue : Old Trafford, Manchester

Team India had a fantastic series against Ireland just a few days ago and are looking in solid form. But they know the English are going to be a different challenge altogether and they will test them.

India have been doing well in recent series’s and should take confidence from that. They had a fantastic limited overs tour of South Africa earlier this year and will look to build upon that and start having success in overseas series’s, especially in countries like England, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

On the other hand, England will themselves be keen on another series win as they have been doing well in recent series’s. 2019 world cup is nearing and England are desperate to build up to that in solid fashion.

India though are probably the best team in the world at the moment and England will have to give their all and hope for the best.

So far India and England have played each other 11 times in T20I’s. Out of that England have won 6 compared to India’s 5.

Team news and possible line-ups

England are likely going to play the same XI as in the recent Australia series.

As for India, Jasprit Bumrah will not be available as due to injury. While Umesh Yadav is available and might play.

England XI : Morgan (C), Roy, Buttler, Root, Hales, Bairstow, M. Ali, C. Jordan, Willey, Plunkett, Rashid.

India XI : Kohli (C), R. Sharma, Dhawan, Raina, Rahul, Dhoni (WK), H. Pandya, B. Kumar, Kaul, Chahal, K. Yadav.

Prediction

It’s hard to predict the outcome of this match, may the best team on the night who commits less mistakes win.
