India and New Zealand will go head to head tomorrow in the third T20I of the five-match series as the tour moves ahead. Team India start this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 29th January 2020, 12:30 PM IST

Venue : Seddon Park, Hamilton

Team India have been terrific in the series so far and they will now have their eyes set on a possible whitewash.

The batters have been good and in the second game we saw the bowling delivering the goods as well. Fielding standards are high as well.

Coming to the third game, the Men in Blue know everything about the surface having played here on last tour. This wicket tends to be good for batting and spinners generally are helped.

So if win the toss then probably bat first and try to score the par score here i.e 180 runs and if bowl first then try to spin your way out.

On the other hand, New Zealand have been really poor even in their own backyard. Things need to improve for them.

The Black Caps failed batting wise in the 2nd T20 international. So batters need to take on responsibility. And bowlers have failed on both occasions and that needs to come good.

It’s a do-or-die scenario for them now and Seddon Park is venue which has suited them historically. So can we expect a comeback here?

Certainly they will need to outplay the Indians in all department on Wednesday if they are garnering hopes of coming back into the series.

Team news and possible lineups

Scott Kuggeleijn is available for New Zealand for tomorrow’s game and he might play.

As for India, they are likely going to play the same XI as in the previous game.

New Zealand XI : Guptill, Munro, K. Williamson (C), Seifert (WK), R. Taylor, C. de Grandhomme, Santner, Southee, I. Sodhi, Tickner, Kuggeleijn.

India XI : R. Sharma, KL Rahul (WK), Kohli (C), Iyer, M. Pandey, Dube, R. Jadeja, S. Thakur, Shami, Chahal, Bumrah.

Prediction

I expect team India to win the series in Hamilton tomorrow going 3-0 up in this 5-match series.
