India and New Zealand will go head to head tomorrow in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Semi-Final as both teams eye a historic place in the final. Team India go into this game as the favourites.

Date and Time : 9th July 2019, 3:00 PM IST

Venue : Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester

Team India after a strong performance so far ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 will aim to reach the finals as they bid for their third trophy.

Most players are in fine form and they will need the best to be better then the rest on the day to outclass the opponents. Batters and Bowlers will need to play the cricket they have been playing.

If bat first then look for 300+ and if bowl then try and restrict a strong and potent Kiwi line-up. The pitch is good for batting which slows down later.

On the other hand, New Zealand too have been quite good in this World Cup so far but three straight losses coming into the semi-finals must hurt.

They will look to give their all and compete in the knockout’s of the World Cup which they haven’t completely mastered and lost in the latter stages of Cricket World Cup many a times. They are yet to win a World Cup.

New Zealand won’t have it easy against India who have been dominating cricketing world cups.

The Blackcaps need to play their best cricket and execute gameplay to perfection if have any hopes of getting past India to reach a cricket World Cup final.

300 is a good score on the wicket which either of the two teams batting first will aim for while both teams have excellent bowling line-ups.

India have a good record against New Zealand in ODI’s and they will be boosted by the fact.

Team news and possible line-ups

Lockie Ferguson is available for New Zealand for India semi’s and will play.

As for the Indian team, they will have Mohammed Shami back into the playing XI.

New Zealand XI : K. Williamson (C), Guptill, Munro, R. Taylor, Latham (WK), Neesham, C. de Grandhomme, Santner, L. Ferguson, Henry, Boult.

India XI : V. Kohli (C), R. Sharma, KL Rahul, Pant, Dhoni (WK), H. Pandya, R. Jadeja, B. Kumar, Shami, Chahal, Bumrah.

Prediction

Probably India to win given their good performance in ICC events.
