Germany vs Belarus – UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier match preview, predicted line-ups

Germany vs Belarus
Germany will play Belarus on Saturday in Euro 2020 qualifiers

Germany will play Belarus on Saturday in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers as both teams look for three points. Germany go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Borussia-Park, Monchengladbach

Germany other than the loss to Holland in this qualification have been normal with their campaign. Winning matches as they come.

At present Die Mannschaft are second in their group after 6 matches with 15 points. The goal difference is +14.

In Belarus they have got opponents who will not pose much of a threat especially in home conditions. So Germany just need to play their brand of football.

I think this game could well be a goal fest given the type of players that Germany have. Really a game football fans will look forward to.

On the other hand, Belarus haven’t had the best of campaigns and their struggle will not be gone any time soon.

The Eastern Europeans are currently 4th in their group after 7 games with just four points. The goal difference is of -8.

Their qualification hopes are over but against Germany they will hope to give a good fight. Odds are against them but where their is a will their is a way.

Belarus will need to be solid tactically with luck favouring they could spring a surprise. I wish them all the best.

Germany have a good record against Belarus and they will look to continue the good work.

Team news and possible line-ups

Pavel Savitski, Ivan Bakhar and Sergei Politevich will all be not available for Belarus for the Germany game as due to injury.

As for Die Mannschaft, Marco Reus, Kai Havertz, Niklas Sule and Marco Halstenberg will all be unavailable as due to injuries. While Emre Can is suspended. And also Niklas Stark is a doubt.

Belarus XI : Gutor, Polyakov, Martynovich, Naumov, Zolotov, Maevski, Yablonski, Nekhaychik, Dragun, Stasevich, Laptev.
