Germany vs Belarus
Germany will play Belarus on Saturday in the 2020 Euro Qualifiers
Germany will play Belarus on Saturday in Euro 2020 Qualifiers as both teams aim qualification to the tournament. Die Mannschaft go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 9:45 PM (Local)

Venue : Borisov Arena, Barysaw

Germany have started this year better after not loosing a single game this year. But will have to continue playing their brand of football throughout the year. Last year was a disappointment first in terms of the World Cup and then next in the newly formed UEFA Nations League.

So they will now only have moving up on their minds right now and so they should as Euro 2020 is only next year and first they must qualify. The section is competitive contain rivals Netherlands, Belarus, Estonia and Northern Ireland.

They won against Holland in March so have got three points from 1 game. Now is the chance to get another maximum as Belarus shouldn’t pose that much of a threat. After that Estonia next.

On the other hand, Eastern Europeans Belarus have had a bad start to their Euro 2020 aspirations after successive defeats to Holland and Northern Ireland. Things doesn’t get easy at all going ahead.

Belarus are on zero points after two games. The White Wings aren’t ranked much higher either, on 81. Playing Germany at home must be motivating enough to give their all and hope for the best. To step up is an important thing for the landlocked country.

Team news and possible line-ups

Yuri Kovalev is available for Belarus and might play against Germany.

As for Die Mannschaft, Antonio Rüdiger will not be available as due to injury.

Belarus XI : Hutar, Shitov, Martynovich, Polyakov, Volodko, Dragun, Maevski, Nekhaychik, Kovalev, Stasevich, Laptev.

Germany XI : Neuer, Ginter, Sule, Tah, Kehrer, Kimmich, Gundogan, Schulz, Sane, Reus, Gnabry.

Prediction

Belarus should give some fight to the Germans but Germany have had success this year and so the team should gel well to churn out full three points. Germany should win 3-2.
