Manchester United will take on Liverpool in the first pre-season game for both ahead of the 2022/23 season in Thailand

Manchester United and Liverpool go head to head today in both of their’s first pre-season game ahead of the 2022/23 season in Thailand. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 8:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok

Manchester United were not at their best last season and failed win a single trophy and they would want to be better this season and they kickstart their preparations with pre-season fixtures. United should ideally win all these games.

Manager Erik ten Hag will have the burden on his shoulders to deliver and he will likely be set on the pathway to do so. The first task being the game against Liverpool in Thailand followed by the Australia leg.

On the other hand, Liverpool despite in their prime could only win two trophies last season and failing to win the Champions League and the Premier League. They will look to make amends this season.

Under manager Jurgen Klopp they will have the resources to do the winning job as they kickstart their pre-season tour in Thailand against rivals Man United. Following which one game is in Singapore and then back home in Europe.

Team news and possible lineups

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be available for United for the Thailand tour due to personal issues but might be in the Australia leg. While new signing Tyrell Malacia might feature.

As for The Reds, new signing Darwin Nunez is available to feature.

Prediction

It should be a close game and I expect a 2-2 draw.
