FIFA World Cup 2022 – Netherlands vs Qatar, Group A, match preview, predicted lineups

Ned vs Qat
Netherlands take on Qatar on Tuesday in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group A as Group A comes to a close

Netherlands take on hosts Qatar on Tuesday in Group A in FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar as the tournament moves ahead. The Dutch go into this game as the favourites.

Kick-off : 6:00 PM (Local)

Venue : Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor

Netherlands have performed their usual in the group thus far having been dominant in both of their games. They will look to seal their round-of-16 birth with a win on Tuesday.

The Oranje were solid at the back against the Senegalese in otherwise a little open against the Ecuadoreans. But they will aim for a clean sheet and all three points versus the Qataris with attacking mentality.

Boss Louis van Gaal will use his 3-4-1-2 system on Tuesday.

On the other hand, The Qataris should strongly be disappointed with their efforts at the home World Cup. Despite them being new to this level they could have been more of a good efficient team.

The Maroon were not solid at the back in either of their contests and it is what has hurt them wherein they would like to give it a shot in their final group game. Attacking wise they lack as well.

Manager Felix Sanchez will likely go with his 5-3-2 system on Tuesday.

Team news and possible lineups

Mohammed Muntari Abdulaziz Hatem are both available for Qatar for the dutch game and likely play.

As for Holland, Memphis Depay and Steven Berghuis are both available and might play.

Netherlands XI ; Noppert, Timber, Dan Dijk, Ake, Dumfries, Berghuis, F. de Jong, Blind, Gakpo, Bergwijn, Memphis.

Qatar XI : Barsham, Miguel, Khoukhi, Hassan, Mohammed, Hatem, Madibo, Al-Haydos, Ahmed, Ali, Muntari.

Prediction

Expecting nothing other than a dutch win, 3-0.
