AC Milan will host Torino in 2019/20 Coppa Italia quarter-final as the tournament moves ahead. Both teams will be looking for a win here.

Kick-off : 8:45 PM (Local)

Venue : San Siro, Milan

Milan are struggling in Serie A at the moment and doing well in the Coppa Italia should be one of their prime objectives now.

I Rossoneri overcame SPAL in the round-of-16 in the Coppa Italia as they now have Torino as next opponents.

It should be a tester but at home Milan will try to produce the goods. It’s a must win for them to further progress.

Stefano Pioli will use tactics which serve hime well on the day. I think he will have to play attacking style of football and see what happens.

On the other hand, Torino are fresh from the drubbing at the hands of Atalanta but they will need to have high levels of concentration in the cup tie.

I Granata overcame a tough Genoa challenge in the round-of-16 stage of the Coppa Italia and AC Milan will be a different level of opposition.

If Torino have to overcome Milan in Milan, then they need to play their best soccer and give their all.

Walter Mazzarri will tell his players to come together for this one, hold up Milan’s play and try to defeat them, simple as that.

Milan have the upper hand in terms of the head to head with their 65 wins to Torino’s 39 out of 161 meetings.

Team news and possible lineups

Cristian Ansaldi and Simone Zaza will both be unavailable for Il Toro for the Milan game as due to injury. While Soualiho Meite is unavailable through suspension.

As for the Rossoneri, Lucas Biglia and Davide Calabria are both doubts.

Torino XI : Sirigu, Bremer, Djidji, Bonifazi, Aina, Rincon, Lukic, Laxalt, Berenguer, Verdi, Belotti.

Milan XI : Begovic, Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez, Castillejo, Krunic, Bennacer, Bonaventura, Piatek, Rebic.

Prediction

I expect Milan to win this one, probably 2-0.
